Best Picture During M.U.S.T. Intramural 2012

This was the picture of Mr. and Ms. M.U.S.T  2012 during the coronation night at Limketkai Atrium last September 19, 2012. The contestants looks very beautiful in their gorgeous outfit. The ladies are wearing their most beautiful gown just for that night. The gentlemen also are wearing their bachelors outfit. they look so handsome and beautiful at that night.

Prior to this contest, all of the department heads are preparing themselves for the incoming search of Mr. and Ms. M.U.S.T 2012. They have an audition to those who want to join the search. Many are interested but only few were accepted according to the qualification that are suitable for this type of contest. They hire expert judges to critique during the audition so that can select the best among the interested. Those who were qualified are trained on how to answer the questions that will be raise during the final night of the contest.

This contest enable the students to use their best ability in answering question that the judges asked them during the question and answer portion. This contest is about measures not only the beauty of the students but also the capacity of the student in answering the  questions, even if how difficult it is. But I believe, 'There is no difficult questions for the intelligent students'.

M.U.S.T Intramural 2012

Intramural is an activity where each of the students have the chance to mingle with the other students through participating in some activities that is set for the Intramural . There are so many activities that each department have prepared for Mindanao University and Science of Technology Intramural 2012. These  activities include sports such as individual sports and team sports and so many other activities that can develop the different skills and capacity of the students to learn more specially in cooperating to each other.

          Mindanao University of Science and Technology Intramural 2012 with the theme of "Dare to Move" encouraged each individual/department to strive hard to be on the top of intramural 2012. The athletes and all of the members of each department are worth to be congratulated because they are exerted their effort in playing such games and performing such duties to make our intramural successful for the entire four(4) days activity.

          During those four(4) days of intramural, I experienced so much delighted because of oneness of each member of the team in playing their games such as volleyball an d basketball. I have watched the 'CHAMPIONSHIP GAME of BASKETBALL for girls. They are so very active in playing the game even though they felt so tired because of continuous game, but still they have won the game for the championship.

          For the other activities, I haven't watch it all because it was not convenient in my time. But during the awarding night, I have focused my attention to the awards that our department have received. And luckily, our department have won the '2nd Runner -up' over all of the Intramural 2012. Our Department also won the 'Over-all Champion for the Sports category'.

          And lastly, I enjoy watching the intermission numbers during the awarding night, specially the 'Fire Dancing'. There are some who dance and sing. 

CONGRATULATIONS to all of us who made on the top of M.U.S.T Intramural 2012.

An ideal student

            An ideal student is the one who is responsible enough of what he is doing.

An ideal student is the wealth and future of this nation, hope of the family and pride of the school. He respects his teachers and is helpful as well as friendly to his class-fellows. An ideal student always takes an active part in academic as well as in extra-curricular activities of his college. He is hard-working. He is both attentive and punctual in his studies. An ideal student is disciplined and obedient. He is not a bookworm but an all rounder. Games and studies go side by side with him. He knows that soundmind lives in a sound body. He always sticks to his right ideals and aims.

An ideal and good student must have and try to apply the qualities that a student should have.

1. An ideal student should maintain the rules of health and performs his religious activities.

2. He has to be social and hard-working.

3. He should love his country.

4. He actively takes part in games and sports and other extra-curricular activities.

5. He should have the interest in doing social work.

6. An ideal student makes proper use of his time and never shirks his duties.

7. He should be obedient to the existing rules and regulation of the country.

8. He should devote himself fully to gain knowledge.

9. To be an ideal student, he should cultivate all the virtues and hold values in him.

10. An ideal student fixes up a noble aim.

11. He should give topmost priority in molding his character.

12. He should lead a strictly disciplined life and never indulges in evil thoughts.

13. To be an ideal student, he should spends highest amount of time in the acquisition of
            knowledge because he should know that knowledge is the gateway of success.

14. An ideal student must not dabble in politics which is responsible for most of the ills of the
            youth nowadays. He should bear in mind that student life is the time of preparation for
            struggle in life.

15. An ideal should be sincere, truthful, dutiful, energetic, neat and clean.

            Such good and bright students are the gems of an institution. They are the pillars of a nation.

Simple living and high thinking is the motto of his life. An ideal student is the true patriot. He is prepared to serve his country heart and soul and sacrifice himself for the welfare of his country.

            The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. The future of the country depends upon our youths. “The more the person read,  the more the person  learn.” So, we must educate our youth to make them the future and hope of our country.

            An ideal student will graduates on time.
